My stay at Little Island in Mahabalipuram was truly a refreshing experience. The cozy room on the 2nd floor offered a breathtaking sea view, perfect for enjoying a peaceful tea time with the soothing sea breeze. The owner, Raja, was incredibly hospitable, readily arranging auto rickshaws, rental bikes, and even drinks upon request. The quick replacement of a faulty TV late at night showcased his dedication to guest comfort.The location, just a minute's walk from the sea, was ideal, providing a quiet retreat while still being close to shops and restaurants. The comfortable bed and well-appointed room with a simple yet charming decor made for a relaxing stay. The proximity to Mahabalipuram Temples and Arignar Anna Zoological Park allowed for convenient exploration of the area's attractions. Raja's attentiveness, from ensuring guest safety to personally seeing me off at the bus stop, added a personal touch to my stay. The property's terrace overlooking the beach was a perfect spot to unwind and take in the mesmerizing view of the waves.In conclusion, Little Island offers a warm and friendly environment, making it a recommended choice for those seeking a tranquil seaside getaway with a touch of personalized care. My brief stay here left me looking forward to returning and experiencing more of the hospitality that Raja and Little Island have to offer.
